(M)OTHER: Queer Practices for Nurturing Revolution 8.5”x11” Zine

$18.00

This 52 page, 8.5”x11”, bound zine honors the revolutionary practice of mothering as a queer force that brings hope into reality. Through focusing on the life of Marsha P. Johnson as a mother and making connections between her work, praxis, and character to that of Ọ̀ṣun, the Yoruba divinity often referred to as the Great Mother, I explore mothering as a dedication to liberationthat transcends Western constructs of gender.
